About this foundation
Evidenced cyber assurance, as distinct from cyber maturity assessment. A maturity assessment scores what the security function says about itself, once a year, on a self-reported scale, and produces a spider chart that only ever improves. Vouchstone scores only what can be shown, dates every piece of evidence, and lets the score decay when that evidence goes stale. The source makes the case for exactly this instrument: it documents an organisation that is confident and unprepared at the same time, and it names the resolution as *confianza justificada* — justified confidence — which is a measurement problem before it is a security problem.
