About this foundation
Commitment orchestration for multi-provider journeys. Trip-planning apps optimise the itinerary at the moment of purchase; disruption tools re-book flights after a flight breaks; neither holds the chain. Thruline treats the journey as a dependency graph of commitments with cut-offs and penalties, continuously scores whether the chain is still feasible, buys back time by re-planning the cheapest upstream node, and turns the resulting failure — when it happens anyway — into an automatic entitlement payment to the traveller and an automatic recovery from the provider at fault. Now, because the primitives the source treated as futuristic in 2017 have largely shipped, while the layer that coordinates them has not.
