About this foundation
A delivery-side ethics gate, not a compliance register. Assurance platforms answer a regulator's question about a deployed model; Greylight answers a product team's question this sprint: does this proceed, does it need deliberation, or is it barred — and if it is barred, on which of the four settled grounds. The source's own structural distinction between ethical *dilemmas*, which need argument, and ethical *breaches*, which are "better defined and generally accepted as obligatory," is the product's control flow, and its insistence that ethics management "cannot be a periodic, point-in-time exercise" is why a gate reopens after launch rather than closing.
