About this foundation
Assumption surveillance for probabilistic planning. Forecast accuracy dashboards watch the point forecast with bias and MAPE; machine-learning drift detectors report that something changed, with a p-value and no magnitude and no consequence. Driftbound measures the distance between the planning distribution and the realised distribution on a scale that behaves like a distance — zero when nothing moved, comparable across items, and obeying the triangle inequality so drift can be accumulated over weeks and across echelons — with a guaranteed bound cheap enough to screen the entire estate nightly.
